How do I book a session?
After choosing your session package, you can simply send an email request to book your session. We will ask for a 20% deposit to reserve your chosen date. During rainy season, (June- October), please be prepared to have a second date due to poor weather.
How and when do we pay?
We can accept cash, bank transfers, Zelle, Paypal and Wise. Let us know your preferred method at booking and you will be provided the access information.
How do we select a location?
We will start by choosing a location. We are able to join clients at some hotels and resorts. If you are hoping to have your shoot where you are staying, please contact them first to find out their policies, and ask us about what experiences we may have had there. Otherwise you can choose your favorite Vallarta destinations, or choose from some of our favorite locations to suit your family. Here is a blog about some of popular spots.
What time is the shoot?
The time of the shoot will depend on availability as well as our recommendation about the lighting at your chosen destination. Certain times of day can have harsh or unflattering light, we want to select the most optimal time for the shoot and have the most beautiful results. Usually we will recommend before 11am, or an hour before sunset.
Are the images retouched?
Because we take care to get optimal images in camera with the most flattering lighting, and because sessions offer so many images, only basic retouching will be included as well as color and lighting adjustments to optimize your images. Retouching is available, please inquire here.
We also have several wonderful hair and make up artists that are happy to join your shoot to touch up hair and make up during the shoot.
Do your packages cover all ages?
All ages are welcome to portrait sessions, but for certain ages, such as toddlers, sometimes longer sessions are better.

What to expect during the session?
Each session has a time limit, but this is for shooting time. Each session can be expected to be 15-30 mins longer due to changing backgrounds at the location, changing wardrobes, hair and make up touch ups, or time to calm a fussy child.
What should we wear?
If you have outfits in mind already, we are happy to review them and give advice. Mostly we recommend a mix of short sleeved button down shirts or blouses and dresses. A mix of white or solid colors and a pattern in the same color scheme. Try to use complimentary colors and do not mix patterns.
What is your rescheduling and cancelation policy?
We understand that things come up and you may need to choose a new date.In this case, depending on availability, we are happy to do so. If we do not have a new one available for you, we will return your deposit and recommend you other local photographers. If you decide to cancel your photoshoot you must do so within 3 hours of your planned shoot starting time in order to receive your full deposit. If you do not show up to a scheduled shoot, you will not receive your deposit back and will need to pay a new deposit to book a new shoot. You can read more about our terms and conditions here.
